Direct billing is a value-added service that pre-empts the claims process for high-end medical insurance. In essence,when patients visit a medical institution that has a cooperative relationship with the insurance company, they can present their high-end medical insurance card or guarantee letter and do not need to pay the full or partial medical expenses on the spot (depending on the coverage of their personal insurance).
